The California state university system spent $42 million+ on legal fees for illegal alien students and their families. That’s how they misuse taxpayer dollars in Commiefornia.
Emily Sturge from the Leadership Institute’s Campus Reform went on “The National News Desk” to discuss how the 23 campuses of the California State University system are accused of wasting money on people who shouldn’t be in the country. This scandal comes as a federal investigation examines five universities from Florida, Nebraska, Michigan, and Kentucky that are accused of doling out scholarships specifically earmarked for illegal aliens.
Sturge said the California universities “are providing these free legal services, what they call deportation defense, to [illegal] students, their immediate family members, faculty, staff and alumni who have graduated within the past two years. And according to CSU, that has amounted to nearly 21,000 individuals who have benefited from those services.” The cost was $42 million as of 2023, which means it’s higher by now.
The Department of Justice considers expenditures on illegal aliens’ fees as discriminatory, and therefore as violations of federal law “by providing state-funded resources and programs… for people who are here illegally, while not providing resources like that to American citizens,” Sturge stated.
Time for a federal investigation and freezing of federal funds to these institutions of woker learning.
