Five people were found dead in Oregon on Monday in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide.
KDRV reported that a welfare check was requested for a Grants Pass residence after Hannah Behee, 42, failed to show up for work. Officers responding to the home found her deceased, alongside 40-year-old Chad Behee, a 7-year-old girl, and two boys, ages 9 and 11.
Chad Behee is believed to have killed the four victims before taking his own life, according to KDRV. A GoFundMe page stated that the three youngest victims are Hannah Behee’s children.
Officials have not said whether a weapon was recovered from the scene, but the Grants Pass Tribune reported that all the victims suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
A motive remains undisclosed. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Oregon State Police at 800-442-0776, reference case number SP25-366471.
