Apologies in advance for the featured image, but believe it or not that was the least obnoxious result I could get my AI to generate for Dr. Frank N Furter. You should have seen the pics that generated before I thought to add the lab coat to the variables. For anyone unfamiliar, the image and this post’s title reference the cult classic 1975 film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. As kid I remember asking someone what the movie was about, and I was told something to the effect of, “It’s a movie where you dress up like the characters, yell at the screen and throw things at certain parts. And if you don’t yell at the right parts everyone messes with you” My first thought was “Why would anyone go to see it in the theater if the first time is guaranteed to suck?” Years later I finally caught it on cable, and after a few minutes I realized the movie was about 1) Transsexuals, 2) Singing (I’ve never liked musicals – too long a sidebar), and 3) Singing transsexuals. I didn’t make it past the first ten minutes. I guess you had to experience it with a crowd, but that is one life experience I feel zero regret over missing out on.
With that painful preamble out of the way, I’ll cut right to the chase. Who are the Daughters if the American Revolution, you may ask? Per their web site:
Founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., DAR is dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children.
As one of the most inclusive genealogical societies in the country, DAR boasts nearly 190,000 members in 3,000 chapters across the United States and internationally. Any woman 18 years or older-regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background-who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
Likewise, let’s not waste any time jumping to the controversy Via Washingtonian Magazine back in January of 2024:
The Daughters of the American Revolution has recently found itself grappling with a controversy over its admissions policies that might come as a surprise to outsiders. The DAR—a nonprofit society for women who can trace their lineage to someone who participated in the American Revolution—recently said it’s open to accepting transgender women, a move that created a stir in the right-wing press and among some members.
Wait a minute – “a stir in the right-wing press and among some members”?!? First off, let’s clarify a crucial definition. Where this article uses the misleading phrase “transgender women”, I prefer to use less whitewashed terms like “transsexuals”, or more simply and accurately “men.” The article goes on to explain:
The DAR says it was less of a policy change than just new language in its bylaws that clarifies its existing stance against discrimination. But at a yearly conference over the summer, a member asked if this policy meant that chapters weren’t allowed to vote to exclude trans women. Pamela Rouse Wright, who runs the DAR, affirmed that doing so would amount to discrimination. “Some have asked if this means a transgender woman can join DAR or if this means that DAR chapters have previously welcomed transgender women,” Wright wrote in a subsequent newsletter. “The answer to both questions is, yes.”
Ah, got it. So back during the Joey Sponge Brains Crapped Pants* occupation, a once all American organization allowed itself to be hijacked by Radicals in the name of “nondiscrimination.” Fast forward to a year with a major change to the political winds, as reported by TFPP Wire:
A Texas-based chapter challenged this, proposing a bylaw amendment that would define a woman as a biological female at conception and exclude trans-identifying men from membership.
Despite support from several chapters, DAR’s national leadership rejected the proposal outright, arguing that such a change would not be in the best interest of the organization.
So the fight may be far from over, but any member of DAR who wants to prevent their organization from getting destroyed by Marxists needs to step up now. The culture has shifted, and there is no shortage of allies against the onslaught that the transsexual assault has made on our culture.
It’s your move, DAR – just don’t wait too long on those SOB’s dug in like an Alabama tick.
