Transcript:
David Brody (Interviewer): As it relates to Trump, how do you see him specifically as it relates to, um… how impactful he has been historically?Chuck Todd: Oh, look. I don’t think we’ve had anybody have this much impact on the country since FDR. So I think when… you know, and that’s what I mean, for culturally in particular, certainly. And even how our politics is conducted in that sense. I think the question is, does it have—does he have impact on policy for decades to come? But I think culturally in particular, and certainly on our political identity, not since FDR have we had this kind of a president.Look, he wants to involve himself in everything. FDR involved himself in almost everything,David Brody: including commanders’ names?Chuck Todd:: Including who the CEO of Intel should be. These are things that, you know, the previous representatives of the Republican Party would have… would’ve lost. You know, “How dare government tell business what to do?” Yeah. And yet there’s almost an acceptance. There is no outcry, right? So that’s real change.
“I don’t think we’ve had anybody with this much impact on the Country since FDR.” Chuck Todd, formerly of NBC FAKE NEWS, in an interview with journalist David Brody. Wow, thank you Chuck. I always said that you were far better than the scum that runs the FAKE NEWS at NBC and, especially, Brian Roberts and “Concast.” You are a Free Man now. Congratulations – Use your time well!
