President Donald Trump is nothing if not serious about taking care of the rise of crime in Washington, D.C.
Between the murder of congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym and the bloody beating of Edward Coristine, better known as “Big Balls,” Trump has had it with the rampant violence plaguing America’s Capitol.
On Saturday, he teased an announcement to be made on Monday regarding his administration’s plan to tackle crime.

“On Monday a Press Conference will be held at the White House which will, essentially, stop violent crime in Washington, D.C.,” he wrote in a Truth Social post. “It has become one of the most dangerous cities anywhere in the World. It will soon be one of the safest!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT.”
This comes after Trump ordered federal law enforcement to patrol the streets over the week.
“The effort has been led by the U.S. Park Police and includes officers and agents from the FBI, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), divisions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other agencies, according to the White House,” The Hill reported.
As BizPac Review previously reported, the beating of Coristine is yet another example of how random violence is impacting everyone.
“Coristine told officials that he saw the suspect approach, with MPD’s press release stating that the suspects demanded the victims’ vehicle. Concerned for her safety, the DOGE member then pushed the second victim into the vehicle, turning to confront the suspects,” the report reads. “With Coristine being assaulted by the suspects, an MPD cruiser pulled into the block, causing the suspects to flee. Two suspects were then arrested at the scene, with one victim treated by DC Fire and EMS for injuries sustained during the assault.”
Both suspects, 15-year-old juveniles, have been arrested and charged with unarmed carjacking.
