They describe her as “disengaged” and focused on social media presence over constituent work, with one source stating, “She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bullsh*t that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things.”

Treatment of Staff: Staffers allege Crockett is rude, often berating or belittling them. One incident described her yelling at a legislative aide, reducing them to tears with comments like, “Do you really want to be here? And if not, you can leave!” Another former aide, a young Black woman, reportedly said after being fired, “I don’t want to hear Jasmine Crockett talk about helping Black women when she just fired one for no reason!”

Staff Expectations: Crockett reportedly requires staffers to rent high-end vehicles, such as an Escalade, to drive her to Capitol Hill events, with staff expected to act as chauffeurs, standing outside to open doors—a practice described as a “power play” and inefficient compared to other lawmakers who use staffers’ personal cars.

Staff Turnover: Her office has experienced high turnover, with multiple chiefs of staff cycling through, attributed to her demanding behavior and focus on media appearances over legislative duties.
