On Tuesday, Obama took to X to decry the GOP’s redistricting efforts in Texas, calling it a “power grab that undermines our democracy.” But social media users were quick to expose Obama’s staggering hypocrisy, pointing out that his own home state of Illinois is one of the most aggressively gerrymandered states in the nation—a fact the liberal media conveniently ignores.
“We can’t lose focus on what matters – right now,” Obama wrote, pretending to be a defender of fair elections. “Republicans in Texas are trying to gerrymander district lines to unfairly win five seats in next year’s midterm elections.” The irony was lost on him, but not on conservatives, who immediately fired back with receipts. Illinois Democrats, under Obama’s political allies, have shamelessly rigged district maps to lock in permanent power, yet Obama remains silent on his own party’s corruption.

The backlash was swift and brutal. Critics mocked Obama not just for his selective outrage but also for his well-documented failures—from the Russia Collusion Hoax, which he and his administration helped perpetuate, to the endless rumors about his crumbling marriage. “Remember when Obama weaponized the FBI against Trump based on a fake dossier?” one user clapped back. “Now he wants to lecture us on democracy?” Another added, “Illinois gerrymanders worse than any state, but Obama only cares when Republicans do it.”

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has been a steadfast champion of fair and transparent elections, calling on Texas to fight back against the left’s relentless attempts to manipulate the system. While Democrats flee their responsibilities—literally—to avoid voting on redistricting, Trump has urged Republicans to hold the line and ensure that every legal vote counts. Unlike Obama, who presided over an administration riddled with surveillance abuses and political targeting, Trump has consistently fought for election integrity.

The liberal media, of course, refuses to hold Obama accountable for his hypocrisy. Instead, they amplify his misleading rhetoric while ignoring the Democrat Party’s long history of election rigging, from gerrymandering in blue states to their push for unconstitutional federal takeover of elections.
