Megyn Kelly criticized Beyoncé over her new Levi’s ad featuring the pop superstar with blonde hair posing suggestively in a denim jeans outfit, a part of a campaign that comes amid a national leftist meltdown over actress Sydney Sweeney.
In yet another example of the double standards of the left, the black cultural icon who campaigned for Kamala Harris is being celebrated while Sweeney’s American Eagle “great jeans” ad has been vilified by “woke” scolds as “Nazi propaganda” and a dog whistle for eugenics that promotes white supremacy.
The conservative journalist and podcaster opined that there is nothing authentic about the singer and businesswoman.
This is the opposite of the Sydney Sweeney ad. Quite clearly there is nothing natural about Beyonce. Everything – from her image to her fame to her success to her look below – is bought and paid for. Screams artificial, fake, enhanced, trying too hard. https://t.co/sQXijTgrJn

“This is the opposite of the Sydney Sweeney ad. Quite clearly there is nothing natural about Beyonce. Everything – from her image to her fame to her success to her look below – is bought and paid for. Screams artificial, fake, enhanced, trying too hard,” Kelly said in a Tuesday post to X.
On Monday, Beyoncé’s company Parkwood Entertainment unveiled a video titled “The Denim Cowboy” in which the 43-year-old Harris supporter is portrayed as a jeans-wearing, booty-shaking pool shark, which was posted to Instagram and was also shared on the artist’s YouTube account.

Shortly thereafter, Levi’s posted images of the denim-clad singer in what appeared to be the outfit that she wore in the video. The campaign sticks with the western theme that Beyoncé adopted for her recent “Cowboy Carter” country music crossover, which snagged her a Grammy for Best Country Album, making her the first black woman to get the honor.
In a recent column, Kelly praised Sweeney’s American Eagle ads.
“These ads say ‘hotness is back,’ and that is important in 2025. We have been living through a five-year period where we were told we needed to celebrate Dylan Mulvaney as the new female beauty standard. It’s a no. Finally, we have an actual woman with amazing breasts and an obviously kick-ass body who is in her jeans, and it is wonderful,” she wrote.
“We have been suffering with the elevation of homely people in our fashion ads and our fitness ads for years now, and we are over it. We miss attractive people. We are sick of trying to pretend that these objectively unattractive people are the new beauty standard. They are not,” Kelly said.
President Donald J. Trump is also a big fan of the American Eagle ads.
“Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there. It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are ‘flying off the shelves.’ Go get ‘em Sydney!” Trump said in a Monday post to Truth Social that sent American Eagle stock soaring.
He’s apparently not a fan of Beyoncé, and in May, the president called for a “major investigation” into the singer and fellow celebs Bruce Springsteen, Bono, and Oprah over “corrupt, unlawful” contributions to Harris, who was pulverized in the election despite their endorsements.
