Conservative media personality Alex Stein disrupted a live MSNBC broadcast on Monday, shouting anti-network slogans before being physically removed from the camera’s view on the lawn of the Texas Capitol.
The incident occurred during a daytime news segment as an NBC News reporter was broadcasting live outside the Capitol.
Stein approached the camera while chanting, “MSNBC sucks! MSNBC sucks! MSNBC sucks!” on air.
Production crew and staff responded by attempting to push Stein out of frame while the segment was still live.
The video feed continued to air the disruption as it happened, and the clip was later widely circulated across social media.
Conservative viewers, influencers and media outlets reshared the video, framing the moment as an act of media confrontation.
Stein later posted the footage on X, writing in the caption, “MSNBC is the saddest excuse for a ‘news’ network and telling them they suck on their own airwaves feels fantastic.”
The video received thousands of interactions, including reposts and likes.
The MSNBC ambush is the latest in a series of high-profile disruptions by Stein, who is known for his confrontational appearances at government meetings, live media broadcasts and college campuses.
His actions often include sharp critiques of legacy media and left-wing ideology.
WATCH:
Stein’s Capitol appearance did not end with the MSNBC incident.
Earlier in the day, he spoke before a Texas state legislative panel where he delivered remarks that targeted transgender individuals’ participation in both the U.S. military and women’s sports.
During his testimony, Stein used sarcasm to argue for so-called transgender military service, saying, “transgenders are some of the meanest people on planet Earth” and “they love to do mass shootings.” The comments drew visible reactions from those in attendance.
He then referenced suicide rates within the transgender community, drawing a controversial comparison.
“Maybe you guys can actually, you know, if you commit suicide, actually help us in the battlefield,” Stein said to lawmakers.
Shifting to the topic of gendered restrooms, Stein criticized the inclusion of trans women in female spaces.
“We don’t want these gargoyles in a dress… trying to pee or poop next to my girlfriend,” he stated.
He described trans women as “sexual perverts” and referenced “autogynephilia” in his remarks.
Stein continued, “Some of you lesbians want to come pee next to me? You’re more than welcome. Just don’t let the chicks with d*cks in the women’s room.”
The comments were met with tension in the hearing room and have since been shared in media recaps and online commentary.
The Texas appearance adds to Stein’s track record of public disruptions and provocative messaging.
As host of Prime Time with Alex Stein, he frequently conducts ambush-style segments targeting political figures, media personnel and public institutions.
In past appearances, Stein has interrupted city council meetings with satirical songs and speeches.
He has also confronted public officials on sidewalks, in hallways and at public events, often recording the encounters for social media content.
