As I have previously mentioned, I check Bluesky so that you don’t have to, and it was on Bluesky that I found this skeet from Ian Hansen.
Mr Hansen, who posts links to a lot of conservative sites, but has only 391 followers, tries valiantly to educate in ineducable over there, but if it weren’t for his skeet, I would never have heard of this story:
7-Year-Old Girl Repeatedly Raped, Molested by Guatemalan Father, Friend – Police
Two men from Guatemala are facing charges for prolonged sexual abuse of a 7-year-old girl in Florida, authorities say.

The West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) released shocking details about the case after taking the suspects into custody on Wednesday.
Authorities were alerted by the victim’s babysitter after the girl said she had been molested “every day” over a long period of time.
“The investigation revealed that the child’s father, 26-year-old Josue David Mendez-Sales, and his roommate, 23-year-old Pablo Neftaly Cobon-Mendez, repeatedly sexually battered a child under the age of 12,” WPBPD explained a press release.
“Both suspects admitted to the repeated abuse during interviews with investigators. They were taken into custody without incident.
There’s more in this disgusting story at the original.
You’d think that a sensational story like that would have made the national news, but if you thought that, you’d be wrong, wrong, wrong. A Google search for Josue David Mendez-Sales yielded only local results, but enough to tell me that an evil reich-wing site like Border Hawk hadn’t just made it up out of whole cloth.
One story noted that there was “No word on whether either or both of the men are in the country illegally, but the police chief noted the Department of Homeland Security helped in the investigation,” while another from WPBF News reporting that state Attorney General James Uthmeier said he believed that the accused should face the death penalty also noted that neither of the suspects was born in the United States.
Since the suspects are immigrants from Guatemala, whether here legally or otherwise, it is perfectly understandable that CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the rest of the credentialed media would choose not to cover it. Some news, it seems, is not fit to print!
