The US government has declared war on the very idea of climate change

Americans are used to whiplash in their climate policy. The US has been in and out and in and out again of the key Paris climate agreement over the past four presidencies.

But in his second administration, President Donald Trump is not just approaching climate science with skepticism. Instead, his administration is moving to destroy the methods by which his or any future administration can respond to climate change.

These moves, which are sure to be challenged in court, extend far beyond Trump’s well-documented antipathy toward solar and wind energy and his pledges to drill ever more oil even though the US is already the world’s largest oil producer.

His Environmental Protection Agency announced plans this week to declare that greenhouse gas emissions do not endanger humans, a move meant to pull the rug out from under nearly all environmental regulation related to the climate.

Have Warmists ever considered that they can stop jamming this through government and the courts and just practice what they preach? I know it gets tedious writing that, I’m sure it is tedious to read it. But, it is as true as ever. I don’t expect everyone to love heavy metal, and, that’s OK (well, not really, everyone should love metal). I’m not going to use the power of government to force everyone to listen to it. I despise people listening to their vids and music on the speakers of their phones. But, I wouldn’t demand government stop it, no matter how much I hate it.

There is nothing in the Constitution which requires Congress to do anything about the climate scam. Even if AGW was real, it’s still not in the federal government’s power per Article 1 sections 8-10. If states want to do something, have at it. If you want Los Federales to do something, try and pass a constitutional amendment. Even laws mostly do not require we do something, and any law or regulations passed can be changed.

So, suck it up, Warmists, leave the rest of us alone, make your own lives carbon neutral.
