Actor Jeff Bridges called in to The Jimmy Dore Show to discuss the controversial and much-talked-about Sydney Sweeney jeans ad, laughing off social media outrage that it resembled “Nazi propaganda” simply because of Sweeney’s appearance. He and Jimmy mocked the absurdity of the backlash, with Bridges asserting that critics are just jealous losers, upset they aren’t attractive.
The pair also touched on the cancellation of Steven Colbert’s show, clarifying that it was due to declining viewership and network business decisions, not censorship. Finally, Bridges expressed dismay over the nearly two-year-long humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and how many officials only recently acknowledged the severity of Israel’s actions.
