Every year, The Blue Angels fly over the Jet City at the annual SeaFair in Seattle. But some former veterans with PTSD and climate activists are adamantly opposed to the jet noise.
What deserves a spot in Seattle’s sky? I’d say this is the other way around. Does Seattle’s skyline deserve The Blue Angels, the bunch of ungrateful Socialists that they are?
Who designed the billboard? Aedan McCall who lived on Mercer Island for over 10 years before leaving because of the effects from the show.
Mercer Island. That figures.
The sheer amount of carbon emissions the Blue Angels create–670 tons in one weekend–is immense and wasteful on top of being a big display of U.S. militarism.”-Aedan McCall
Carbon emissions. Jarring noise. U.S. militarism. OH, MY!
I’m not going to touch those with PTSD. I am not a Veteran, nor have I ever been in combat but the sponsors of this billboard are actually not the veterans but climate activists with The Airshow Climate Action Coalition. They have also partnered with the radical global climate group, Extinction Rebellion. Aren’t these the guys who glue themselves to things? Wouldn’t it be great if they glued themselves to an F/A-18 Superhornet and went soaring through the sky at Mach-1? Now THAT I’d like to see! Where is Greta Thunberg when we need her?
Stop with this noise already….We have fentanyl zombies trying to get some much needed sleep on our sidewalks!!#BlueAngels #Seattle pic.twitter.com/6Vm5zxvja3

These environmental activists had NOTHING to say about drug addicts defecating on Seattle streets, or doing fentanyl on a bus, or the vast amount of trash and unsanitary conditions in the city itself. They’re triggered by The Blue Angels, though. Why? Because, to them, it’s more than just jet noise. It pierces their liberal fantasy.
I understand the world we live in isn’t the way it ought to be, but I also understand that I have to work with what’s available. And I, like you, and your cat, hate the Blue Angels, hate the sky-ripping rocket-racket. But we are in a military empire. To pretend otherwise, I still believe, is to prefer the illusion to the reality.”-Charles Mudede, The Seattle Stranger
Sky-ripping, rocket-racket in this military empire of ours. Here we go again with the “empire” business. It’s so great to live in not only a liberal bubble but a liberal echo-chamber. Repeat after me: love is love. Science is real. No human is illegal. The United States is an empire now…
I have said this before (two years ago to be exact), and it deserves repeating because, despite all that’s going on with Trump, nothing about the US has fundamentally changed. And I say this as a person who voted for Kamala Harris, and would vote for her again and again. “-Charles Mudede, The Seattle Stranger
Well, she’s certainly not running for governor of California. Let’s hope she does not run in 2028. Otherwise, Charles will vote again and again. But, getting back to the Blue Angels being part of the military-industrial complex. Down with it all, that pesky Capitalism!
Getting rid of the Blue Angels will only hide the fact that our society is a military empire.
In the same way we should not sweep the homeless from the streets (putting aside the humanitarian argument for it, of course), we should not scrub the Blue Angels from our skies. The suffering our rich society deliberately throws onto its streets does not go away when it’s swept out of sight.
The last thing we should have is a mind whose sky is eternally clear of the Blue Angels and the Navy that supports this spectacle. When you are putting gas into your car and the sudden roar of the jets shatters your nerves, do not separate what you are doing from what just flew over you. The latter makes the former possible.”-Charles Mudede, The Seattle Stranger
Read=not only should you loathe The Blue Angels, you should loathe yourself, too. It is no wonder these liberals are angry. They hate jet noise yet, they step over and around homeless fentanyl addicts every day in a stupor. Don’t worry, they put up a flag in their window to “Protect Trans Kids”. Trans kids hate the jet noise, too.
As soon as Bill Gates, and all those fucktard’s start flying on commercial planes, I might consider to listen to what they have to say. Fucking hypocrites

A weaker ideology (and there is no such thing as no ideology) results from a sky without the Blue Angels. We may or may not like the truth of their noise and the empire they represent and impose, but this is where you live, this is how you eat, and this is the traffic jam you often find yourself in. And hating Trump, as most in Seattle do, doesn’t change this fact.”-Charles Mudede, The Seattle Stranger
Again, had to throw Trump in there. The Blue Angels, who have been a tradition at SeaFair long before Trump was President, are just a grim reminder of the oppressive empire these poor souls are forced to live in. The utter horror! Can’t we just go bak to The Summer of Love, burning down law enforcement buildings and CHAZs and CHOPs? Those were the days!
As for some of us, we will look up at the pierced sky, hope those F/A-18s pop the liberal balloon loudly. We will watch The Blue Angels maneuver seemingly effortlessly in, what some of us who have loved ones who are aviators know, choreographed formations that leave no room for error. We will watch in awe and with pride. (We know Seattle knows THAT word). Blue-haired cat ladies, go grab another donut and your Monster Energy Drink that is essentially like poison wrecking your innards and invest in some good earplugs for a couple of days. I promise. You WILL survive. This, too, shall pass. Or, just scream at the sky like some of you like to do when life sucks and does not go your way.
Bring on the Blues! We love the sound of freedom and the smell of jet fuel in the morning!
