Rewriting history, attacking political opponents, weaponizing justice, warmongering, censorship, authoritarianism. They’re all features of the dictatorship in Orwell’s 1984—and parts of the Democrat Party’s habitual platform.
Ever since its inception, the Democrat Party has defined itself on oligarchical and anti-American principles, dividing people by class and race, rigging elections, and starting mass violence when all other tools fail. That’s what made Democrats such perfect allies for and adherents of Communism in the 20th and 21st centuries. And Communism, of course, is what Orwell was critiquing.
