CINCINNATI, OH – A chaotic street fight in downtown Cincinnati has led to multiple arrests, with three individuals facing serious charges as they appeared in court this morning. The incident, captured on several cell phones, quickly went viral, drawing global attention.
Three suspects, including one with a criminal history, are now facing charges of felonious assault and aggravated riot. Authorities describe the altercation as a coordinated attack, but family members of those involved suggest there’s more to the story.
Montana Meriwether, Kierra Vernon, and Jermaine Matthews have been charged in connection with the brawl. At the time, Meriwether was out on bond for separate charges involving a firearm and stolen property. His bond is now set at $500,000.
Jermaine Matthews is accused of knocking a victim to the ground and assaulting another person. His attorney argues that Matthews reacted after being slapped by the victim. Matthews has been given a $100,000 bond.
Kierra Vernon faces accusations of hitting a female victim during the fracas and has an outstanding traffic warrant. Her bond is set at $200,000.

Meriwether’s mother insists her son is not the thug he’s portrayed to be, highlighting his academic achievements and family responsibilities.
