It’s time to get lean and mean like a fighting machine—because the Trump Administration is slashing regulations like a machete through red tape, and let’s be honest, it’s long overdue.
In a historic shake-up, the Environmental Protection Agency has proposed scrapping the Obama-era “endangerment finding”—a 2009 declaration that became the holy scripture for climate change regulation. This so-called “finding” claimed emissions from fossil fuels—like carbon dioxide and methane—were essentially harbingers of Earth’s doom, justifying layers of costly restrictions.
Now, the White House Office of Management and Budget wants to permanently reverse it. That would effectively neuter the EPA’s authority to enforce climate mandates based on that premise—and silence much of the climate hysteria that has gripped policy for over a decade.
Let’s talk science for a second—carbon dioxide is not a villain. It’s been part of Earth’s ecosystem since the beginning of time and it plays a vital role in helping plants grow. In fact, it only makes up about 0.4% of the atmosphere. That’s not a typo—zero point four percent.
But climate alarmists have weaponized that minuscule percentage to justify sweeping regulations that strangle industries and economies. Overturning the endangerment finding wouldn’t just be a win for common sense—it’d be a legacy-level reform that even future administrations would struggle to undo. It’s deregulation with staying power.
New EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin is leading the charge, calling the reversal “common sense” and saying it reflects what Americans truly want. And he’s not wrong. You can care about the planet and want a booming economy. These things aren’t mutually exclusive. Listen –
Unless the courts swoop in to derail this progress (which, let’s face it, they’ve done before), this move could save Americans a trillion dollars. That’s trillion with a “T.” One agency, one regulatory reversal, and boom—more deregulation than some entire presidencies have managed.
Zeldin clarified that innovation in the energy sector doesn’t need to stop—far from it. But the left’s obsession with trillion-dollar “green” initiatives had little to do with progress and everything to do with payouts. Straight-up criminal, in fact. Listen –
Billions were funneled into so-called “green” projects that acted more like slush funds for Biden-Harris cronies and Democrat donors. Don’t let the climate left monopolize the moral high ground—because while they were busy greening their wallets, cities like Flint, Michigan and East Palestine, Ohio, were left in the lurch.
Why? Because the money meant for them was siphoned off. Zeldin spells it out clearly—listen –
Another day, another shady Biden deal. But now, the Trump Administration is meticulously unraveling the damage—and they’re not doing it alone. Enter AI.
Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has developed an AI tool that’s gone through 200,000 federal regulations and identified 100,000 that can be axed. That’s half. Gone. Poof. Regulations that aren’t even required by law anymore.
The potential savings? Trillions more. That’s right, plural.
DOGE might have sounded gimmicky at first, but the tool is delivering. In just six months, the administration has gone from promises to progress. Agencies have until September 1st to review the AI findings and compile kill lists of regulations to eliminate.
If this plan holds, we’re looking at:
$1.5 trillion in compliance cost savings
$600 billion in new investment
$1 trillion in added revenue
$85 billion reduction in federal size
That’s a fiscal hat trick—and then some.
Trump promised a slimmer government. And now, it’s happening.
A leaner bureaucracy means a government that works for everyone, not just eco-zealots and fringe activists. When D.C. starts listening to average Americans instead of ivory tower elites, the economy grows and freedom flourishes.
Even economists are cheering this turnaround.
It’s time to slash the red tape and unleash America’s full potential. With Zeldin at the EPA and AI at the helm, deregulation isn’t just back—it’s roaring. If the courts stay out of the way, we could be witnessing the birth of a freer, wealthier, more empowered nation.
