President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Tuesday to call out Fox News contributor Jessica Tarlov, labeling her “a real loser.”
“I can’t stand Jessica Tarlov of THE FIVE,” Trump said.
The attack came after Tarlov made controversial claims on the Fox News panel show “The Five” on July 24, disputing the findings of recently declassified documents on Russian interference in the 2016 election, as Trending Politics reported.
Tarlov asserted that Russian President Vladimir Putin “wanted Trump to win,” contradicting the report’s conclusion that Russian interference aimed to help Hillary Clinton, not Trump.
“Okay, so if you had read the report, you would have known that Putin had no preference who won,” co-panelist Jesse Watters responded,
“You guys are literally going back… you’re saying that Putin didn’t, that our intel community and the rest of the world,” Tarlov shouted back, calling the report “erroneous.”
“Excuse me, the media needs to own up to why part of this lie for years,” Kellyanne Conway said, referring to the Russia collusion hoax.
Despite mounting evidence debunking Russian influence claims, Tarlov continued to defend long-discredited theories, including the idea that Russian nationals’ Facebook memes significantly impacted the election outcome.
Trump’s public takedown of Tarlov quickly gained traction on social media.
Eric Daugherty, a contributor to Florida’s Voice, tweeted, “Millions of people agree!”
The “MAGA Voice” X page declared, “Jessica is absolutely the WORST. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED!”
Tarlov is a known liberal voice on Fox News, frequently criticizing President Trump and representing left-wing viewpoints on “The Five.”
About 20 minutes after his fierce criticism against Tarlov, Trump released a statement on Truth Social, affirming that he had nothing to do with the termination of CBS’s late-night show starring Stephen Colbert.
“Everybody is saying that I was solely responsible for the firing of Stephen Colbert from CBS, Late Night. That is not true! The reason he was fired was a pure lack of TALENT, and the fact that this deficiency was costing CBS $50 Million Dollars a year in losses — And it was only going to get WORSE! Next up will be an even less talented Jimmy Kimmel, and then, a weak, and very insecure, Jimmy Fallon,” Trump said.
“The only real question is, who will go first? Show Biz and Television is a very simple business. If you get Ratings, you can say or do anything. If you don’t, you always become a victim. Colbert became a victim to himself, the other two will follow,” he added.
