Hulk Hogan’s wife opens up about his death, says loss was unexpected

Professional wrestling legend Hulk Hogan’s death rocked the sports world and his legion of fans around the world. It was a heavy loss for many, right as rock legend Ozzy Osbourne passed.

According to Breitbart, the wrestling legend’s wife, Sky Daily Hogan, broke her silence this week, admitting that the loss of her husband was “sudden” and understandably saying she “wasn’t ready for this.”

Sky Daily Hogan made a heartfelt tribute post to her late husband on her Instagram account, admitting in the post that Hulk Hogan was experiencing some health problems prior to his death.

However, she noted that she believed he was through the worst of those health problems.

What did she say?

Sky Daily Hogan’s Instagram post garnered nearly half a million reactions from fans around the world. She expressed her feelings on the matter in her first public post.

“I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces. He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time,” she wrote.

She added, “This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”

Sky went on to talk about how much her husband loved his hordes of adoring fans.

“Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him,” she wrote.

Notably, she also pointed out his devotion to Christ in his later years.

“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home. Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”

Sad series of events

Breitbart recounted the sad day that it was revealed that he passed away.

As Breitbart News reported, emergency medical services responded to Hulk Hogan’s home on Thursday morning after receiving reports of cardiac arrest. In the past few weeks, rumors had swirled that Hulk’s “health was deteriorating,” and Sky “dismissed rumors that Hogan was in a coma.”

President Donald Trump even paid tribute to the Hulkster.

“We lost a great friend today, the ‘Hulkster.’ Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart,” Trump said.
