So Bill Maher, after approximately 3,695 long, grueling days of hating Trump with the zeal of a thousand X and Facebook mobs, finally admits he might have been… wrong?
On July 28, 2025, according to the New York Post, liberal comedian Bill Maher confessed on his Club Random podcast that his criticisms over Trump’s tariff policies – that they’d “sink” the economy – didn’t exactly pan out. Stock markets are doing great, and apparently there’s no economic armageddon – just people “living their lives” he says.
Shocker: maybe Trump-hating a policy doesn’t magically alter real-world outcomes?
Maher went on to say that having a “I just hate Donald Trump” mentality is boring and “doesn’t get us anywhere and leads you to dishonesty.”
Say it ain’t so, Bill. Maybe the rest of your friends should listen to you because they don’t seem to be giving up on their TDS anytime soon – no matter how great things get for the country, no matter how many American hostages President Trump brings home, no matter how many ceasefires he negotiates, no matter how many great trade deals he gets done, etc. etc. etc.
Yes, friends – after 3,695 days of Trump lies, doomsday predictions, failed impeachments, courtroom fan fictions, and assassination attempts, one of the left’s loudest voices finally blinked. Bill Maher finally cracked the door open to reality, admitting that blind Trump-hate isn’t a strategy – it’s a dead-end.
Now imagine how much further along we’d be if more liberals spent less time screaming at the sky and more time acknowledging results. Trade wins…Economic gains… Hostages returned…Peace deals signed…Illegal alien criminals booted out of the country…Turns out, facts don’t care about liberal outrage.
Maybe next week Maher will announce his discovery of air and water.
