Alina Habba was in the foxhole with Donald Trump during the Democrat Party’s lawfare.
But Trump had a surprise announcement about her future.
And what Donald Trump just did to Alina Habba will leave you speechless.
President Trump named Alina Habba as his nominee to serve as U.S. Attorney in New Jersey.
Habba could only serve in that position for 120 days if the Senate didn’t first confirm her.
New Jersey’s two Democrat Senators, Andy Kim and Cory Booker, dragged their feet using procedural gimmicks because when the 120-day clock ran out, the 17 District Court judges in New Jersey would get to pick Habba’s replacement.
15 of those judges were appointed by Democrats.
These judges voted to oust Habba after Habba ended the two-tiered system of justice and prosecuted Democrat Congresswoman LaMonica McIver for allegedly assaulting law enforcement when she stormed into an ICE facility and investigated Democrat Governor Phil Murphy for allegedly concealing illegal aliens from immigration enforcement.
President Trump wasn’t about to let a bunch of rogue Democrat judges usurp his ability to appoint officers to serve in the Executive Branch.
Days before she was set to leave office, Habba made a stunning announcement on social media.
Habba wrote that Trump was the President, and she was now the Acting United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey.
“Donald J. Trump is the 47th President. Pam Bondi is the Attorney General. And I am now the Acting United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey. I don’t cower to pressure. I don’t answer to politics. This is a fight for justice. And I’m all in,” Habba wrote.
In this fight with the outlaw judiciary, Trump held all the cards.
That’s because Trump pulled Habba’s nomination to be U.S. Attorney for New Jersey.

Attorney General Pam Bondi then announced that she was firing Habba’s deputy, the First Assistant Attorney General for New Jersey, and the choice of the Democratic judges to serve as interim United States Attorney for New Jersey.
“@USAttyHabba has been doing a great job in making NJ safe again. Nonetheless, politically minded judges refused to allow her to continue in her position, replacing Alina with the First Assistant,” Bondi announced on X. “Accordingly, the First Assistant United States Attorney in New Jersey has just been removed.”
“This Department of Justice does not tolerate rogue judges — especially when they threaten the President’s core Article II powers,” Bondi added.
Trump then named Habba as First Attorney for New Jersey, which allowed her to ascend to the position of Acting United States Attorney for New Jersey, a position she can now hold for the duration of Trump’s Presidency.
