President Donald Trump posted a bizarre meme Sunday showing himself and Vice President J.D. Vance chasing Barack Obama in a recreation of O.J. Simpson’s famous 1994 police chase.
In the image, Obama drives a white Ford Bronco, followed by six police cars.
Trump is pictured smiling in the driver’s seat of one, while Vance is shown in another, but with an unflattering photo that makes him look bloated and has long curly hair.
Vance didn’t seem to mind. He shared the meme on his own X account with a laughing emoji and wrote, “Look closer at JD’s face. No way!”
Trump did not explain the meme, but it comes amid his latest attacks on Obama.
Despite promises to release Epstein’s client list and investigate his death, Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed no such list exists and that Epstein died by suicide.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently declassified a report allegedly implicating Obama’s administration in 2016 election interference, accusing Trump of colluding with Russia.
Trump also shared an AI-generated video of Obama wearing an orange prison jumpsuit, sitting inside a jail cell, as the Daily Mail reported.
Trump has repeatedly accused Obama of treason. “He has done criminal acts, no question about it,” Trump said. “But he has immunity and it probably helps him a lot. He owes me big. Obama owes me big.”
The meme references O.J. Simpson’s 1994 police chase, when the NFL star was accused of killing his ex-wife and her friend.
Simpson was acquitted in what was called the “trial of the century,” a decision still controversial 30 years later.
Trump’s fixation on Obama came after dodging questions about Jeffrey Epstein.
“I don’t follow it too much,” Trump said about Epstein, then quickly turned the tables on Obama.
The Supreme Court ruled in a 2024 decision, argued by Trump’s lawyers, that presidents have immunity from prosecution for official acts while in office.
When asked if that immunity applies to Obama, Trump said, “He’s done criminal acts… but he has immunity.”
Obama’s spokesperson Patrick Rodenbush dismissed the allegations as “bizarre” and “a weak attempt at distraction.”
He added, “Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes.”
Rodenbush pointed to a 2020 bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report led by then-Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R) supporting that conclusion.
Meanwhile, GOP leaders in Congress are pushing investigations into Biden and Obama officials as pressure grows for transparency on Epstein.
Democrats claim Trump is reviving the “Russian hoax” to distract from Epstein.
Since his return to the White House, Trump has posted outrageous memes, including one of himself as the Pope after Pope Francis’ death, and a bizarre AI video imagining Gaza with bearded belly dancers and a statue of Trump, as Resist the Mainstream previously reported.
