A brutal and horrifying video out of Cincinnati has gone viral, showing what many are calling a racially motivated hate crime. The footage, taken Friday night during the city’s Jazz Festival, captures a gang-style beating in the middle of a street—two white individuals, a man and woman, viciously attacked and left unconscious by a group of black assailants.
The disturbing scene unfolds as the crowd eggs on the violence. Multiple voices can be heard shouting, “Beat his a**!” and cheering the attack, while others gleefully recorded the assault on their phones.

The motive remains unclear, but the racial element has sparked outrage online. Given the disturbing racial dynamics visible in the video, calls are growing louder for hate crime charges to be brought against the perpetrators.
Local media reports that police believe the incident began after a verbal altercation, but what could possibly justify this level of mob brutality? Cincinnati Police Chief Terri Theetge responded in a statement, calling the behavior “cruel and absolutely unacceptable.”
“I am in complete disgust waking up to the viral video many of you have now seen,” she said. “Our investigative team is working diligently to identify every individual involved in causing harm.”
So far, no arrests have been reported, and the identities of the victims have not been released. It is also unclear whether the man and woman knew each other before the attack.
Americans are demanding justice. If the races were reversed, there’s no doubt this would be national news with immediate federal charges. The silence from mainstream media is deafening.
