The FBI just made a disturbing arrest that shows how far the Epstein scandal fallout has reached.
Justice Department officials thought they could quietly sweep this investigation under the rug.
And an unhinged Florida man put government officials in terror with this machete threat over the Epstein files.
Florida Man’s Social Media Meltdown Crosses Federal Line
Terrell Bailey-Corsey learned the hard way that threatening federal officials on social media isn’t protected speech – it’s a federal crime.
The 31-year-old Florida resident was arrested by FBI agents after allegedly posting graphic death threats against three unnamed government officials and anyone connected to Jeffrey Epstein’s network.¹
According to the criminal complaint filed in the Middle District of Florida, Bailey-Corsey’s violent outburst began during an online argument with X’s artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok, on July 15.
The AI apparently told Bailey-Corsey something he didn’t want to hear about the existence of Epstein’s client list.
That’s when things got ugly fast.
“Well @grok you’re wrong. Everyone involved if I see them in real life I will KILL. On sight. With a machete so everyone can see the blood and gore of the moment. You can’t fear death so you can’t understand. I will KILL EVERYONE ON THE LIST. ON SIGHT. AND THEY ABSOLUTELY DESERVE IT,” Bailey-Corsey allegedly wrote in his X post.²

But Bailey-Corsey wasn’t finished with his deranged social media rampage.
About an hour later, he escalated his threats to target specific government officials by name.
The FBI complaint reveals the suspect wrote a profanity-laden post threatening three federal officials, whose identities remain redacted in court documents.
“My life means nothing. If I could see you dead. It would be worth it all. Fear God,” Bailey-Corsey allegedly warned the unnamed officials.³
FBI Uncovers Month-Long Campaign of Terror
Bailey-Corsey’s rampage didn’t stop with that single deranged post.
What federal investigators found next should terrify anyone who works in government.
For nearly a full month – from June 22 through July 15 – this man had been posting increasingly violent threats across multiple social media platforms.
Bailey-Corsey allegedly made similar violent statements on Facebook, including a video where he threatened another government official.
One particularly chilling post from that timeframe revealed Bailey-Corsey’s mindset: “I don’t know what the solution is, but someone’s gonna have to clean up a lot of blood when it’s all over.”⁴
“IT’S TIME TO START KILLING POLITICIANS ON SIGHT,” read another post from July 15, according to the FBI complaint.
When federal agents tracked down Bailey-Corsey, he didn’t deny making the posts.
Bailey-Corsey came clean when the feds knocked on his door.
The suspect didn’t just admit to writing those blood-soaked posts – he actually told agents he felt bad about it.
But that remorse meant nothing when investigators discovered what was waiting in his home.
According to the FBI complaint, Bailey-Corsey had stockpiled “a knife, machete, and bow and arrow” – exactly the kind of weapons he’d been fantasizing about using to butcher his targets.⁵
This wasn’t some keyboard warrior making empty threats from mom’s basement.
Trump Administration Faces Epstein Backlash
The timing of Bailey-Corsey’s meltdown couldn’t have been worse for Washington, D.C.
Just as Americans were demanding answers about Jeffrey Epstein’s powerful connections, the Justice Department dropped a bombshell that nobody wanted to hear.
After conducting their investigation, federal authorities announced they’d found no evidence that Epstein kept a “client list” of his high-profile customers.
The revelation blindsided Trump supporters who remembered the President’s campaign promise to release exactly that kind of information if he returned to office.
Now Attorney General Pam Bondi finds herself scrambling to contain the political damage..
On Friday, the Department of Justice formally moved to unseal long-secret grand jury transcripts from the Epstein case, citing “intense public interest” in the notorious sex trafficking investigation.
Bondi’s Friday announcement to unseal grand jury transcripts feels like damage control after the horse has already left the barn.
The Epstein case has exposed a massive trust deficit between ordinary Americans and their government – especially among conservatives who believed Trump would finally expose the swamp creatures.
When legitimate outrage gets ignored by Washington, D.C., some people unfortunately choose the wrong way to express their frustration.
Bailey-Corsey represents that dangerous tipping point where justified anger turns into criminal stupidity.
Feds Throw the Book at Machete-Wielding Suspect
Federal prosecutors aren’t messing around with Bailey-Corsey’s case.
The Florida man now stares down serious federal charges for transmitting interstate threats under 18 U.S.C. § 875(c) – the same law they use to prosecute terrorists and assassins.
FBI agents made it crystal clear in their probable cause statement that Bailey-Corsey crossed the line from protected political speech into criminal territory.
“Based on the foregoing information, I respectfully submit that probable cause exists to believe that Terell BAILEY knowingly transmitted in interstate commerce a true threat to injure the person of another,” investigators wrote in their complaint.⁶
The case shows just how quickly political frustration can destroy someone’s life.
Americans absolutely deserve transparency from their government about powerful elites who may have escaped justice.
But the moment you start threatening to hack people up with machetes, you’ve thrown away any moral authority you might have had.
X permanently banned Bailey-Corsey’s account, though reports suggest his unhinged conversation with the AI chatbot stayed up long enough for investigators to screenshot everything.
Social media companies and federal law enforcement are watching these platforms more closely than ever – especially when the threats involve government officials.
The Epstein scandal isn’t going away, and Americans will keep demanding real answers about what happened to that investigation.
Bailey-Corsey’s arrest should serve as a warning to anyone else who thinks violent threats are the answer to government stonewalling.
Federal authorities are clearly taking these threats seriously, and Bailey-Corsey will now face the full weight of the federal justice system.
The DOJ did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the case.
