The Left thinks America should roll out the red carpet for illegal aliens.
Florida’s top prosecutor isn’t buying that nonsense for one second.
And James Uthmeier made one spectacular offer that had illegal aliens scrambling for cover.
Florida AG turns breakups into deportations
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier just gave jilted lovers across America the ultimate revenge opportunity.
The Sunshine State’s top prosecutor announced his office will help deport anyone’s ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend who happens to be in the country illegally.
“We recently got a tip from someone whose abusive ex overstayed a tourism visa. He is now cued up for deportation,” Uthmeier posted on X Tuesday.¹
But Uthmeier didn’t stop there.
“If your ex is in this country illegally, please feel free to reach out to our office. We’d be happy to assist,” the Attorney General added.²

The announcement instantly went viral as social media users celebrated the creative approach to immigration enforcement.
“This is expert level savage,” one person posted. “I love it!”³
Another user wondered if the same offer applied to problematic mother-in-laws.
Someone else praised Uthmeier’s proactive stance, writing, “This is exactly the kind of proactive support victims need. No one should have to live in fear thank you for standing up for safety and the rule of law.”⁴
The Department of Homeland Security even amplified Uthmeier’s message by retweeting his post along with ICE’s tip line number.
“From domestic abuser to deported loser. ICE Tip Line: 866-DHS-2-ICE,” DHS posted.⁵
Florida leads the nation in deportation efforts
Uthmeier’s unconventional approach reflects Florida’s position at the forefront of President Trump’s immigration crackdown.
Under Governor Ron DeSantis’s leadership, the state has become a model for how to support federal immigration enforcement.
The results speak for themselves.
The New York Times reported that immigration arrests have surged dramatically across the country in 2025, but Florida’s numbers tell an even more impressive story – daily detention rates have jumped from 20 to 64 per day.⁶
Only Texas surpasses Florida’s enforcement pace, conducting roughly 142 immigration arrests daily.
April’s massive Operation Tidal Wave demonstrated Florida’s serious commitment to removing criminal aliens, resulting in 1,120 arrests during what ICE called their most extensive operation ever conducted.⁷
Florida authorities also launched the notorious Everglades detention center known as “Alligator Alcatraz,” strategically positioned to boost federal deportation capacity.
Uthmeier gained national attention when he first proposed the Everglades facility, which became operational on July 3.
“Florida sets the standard for assisting the Trump administration in enforcing federal immigration law,” Uthmeier declared.⁸

Democrats can’t stop Florida’s immigration crackdown
The Supreme Court recently shot down Florida’s attempt to ban illegal immigrants from entering the state, but that hasn’t deterred Uthmeier from finding creative enforcement methods.
The law would have made it a misdemeanor for illegal aliens to enter Florida and was supported by 17 other states.
Uthmeier argued the legislation was essential to shield Floridians from what he called “the deluge of illegal immigration.”⁹
Even without that law, Florida continues finding ways to support Trump’s deportation efforts.
The Attorney General’s office confirmed that people can report cases through the Citizen’s Service line at 1-866-966-7226.¹⁰
ICE already maintains a tip line that receives over 15,000 calls monthly, but Uthmeier’s direct appeal to spurned lovers adds a personal dimension to immigration enforcement.
Critics will undoubtedly scream about the “cruelty” of Uthmeier’s approach.
But the Attorney General is simply doing what voters elected him to do – enforce immigration law and protect Florida citizens.
And if that means turning relationship drama into deportation wins, so be it.
After all, there’s something poetic about abusive illegal aliens getting their comeuppance thanks to the very people they mistreated.
Uthmeier took office earlier this year after DeSantis appointed him to replace Ashley Moody, who moved to the U.S. Senate to fill Marco Rubio’s seat when Trump picked Rubio as Secretary of State.
The new Attorney General has wasted no time making his mark on immigration enforcement.
One user predicted “an increase in the number of reports” to Uthmeier’s office after his announcement.¹¹
That’s exactly what Florida needs – more people willing to help enforce immigration law instead of coddling lawbreakers.
While Democrats continue defending illegal aliens and attacking anyone who dares enforce the law, Florida keeps showing the rest of America what real leadership looks like.
James Uthmeier’s latest initiative proves that when it comes to creative immigration enforcement, Florida refuses to be outmaneuvered.
And illegal aliens throughout the state just learned that even their personal relationships can’t protect them from the consequences of breaking America’s laws.
