When Silence Is Not So Golden…
(These are my views as a woman living in England, on how the culture and spirit of my country has changed over 50 years. Why the country does not feel protected or strong any more, how it has lost, and is losing it values and decency, and how we are daily losing our free speech.)
Talking is cheap, people follow like sheep
Even though there is nowhere to go
How could she tell? He deceived her so well
Pity she’ll be the last one to know
—The Four Seasons
Recently I have been listening to narcissistic abuse educator, Richard Grannon on how to deal with Narcissism; a term which has become very popular in our culture today, our analysis of which can often be mis-used and wrongly attributed to many types of different personalities.
To degrees, I believe most people have some level of Narcissism, but dealing with someone or something, i.e. an organization, who is almost 100% in their ego, whilst taking into account your own personality, level of integrity, and self-preservation, is extremely difficult and debilitating until you learn to detach from the provocation that narcissists convey in order to gain energy and have power over you.
Finding confidence in your silence in some instances, and being non-reactionary in a world where it is more imperative that you speak up right now, is like playing a game of mental tai-chi. A high level of discernment is also required.
So where do you find balance and discernment, to speak up or stay silent, if you are not in tune with the mental games, the hypocrisy, the falseness, the confusion, the superiority, and the provocation, sometimes hiding behind religious or humanist labels, which we now deal with on a daily basis both on a personal and individual level and the collective global onslaught?
Speaking up has become dangerous for many people. Staying silent can also can also kill you inwardly. What has happened to respectful debate or a difference of opinion? What has happened to honest investigative journalism?
Injustice in the UK, where freedom of speech is being silenced, has seen many people react with uncontrollable actions.
There is reportedly the imprisonment of Lucy Connolly, the wife of a Conservative counsellor, who in a fit of rage and frustration tweeted a message about migrants in the UK, after being understandably distressed by the multiple stabbings of young children at a dance class, three of whom were sadly fatal, in Southport in the Summer of 2024
After a few hours of reflection, it is reported that Lucy deleted her tweet. However, she was later arrested, and sentenced to 31 months in prison.
The links below are from the BBC News. Many people will believe verbatim the reports, which do contain main elements of truth. However, through historically reporting false, or misleading information, or not reporting the full facts, some people believe the BBC no longer has the same respect which it once enjoyed, and rarely offers apologies for misrepresentation. There is no longer any Trust.
Whilst social media can often report sensational and inaccurate information, how culpable and accountable should mainstream journalists be for reporting any inaccurate information, which results in any type of confusion or aggression?
It is reported that subsequent riots broke out in Southport as a result of far-right mis-information spread by social media. However, there was also the immediate and initial reporting by the mainstream media that the assailant was a 17-year-old Welsh boy who could not be named. Some people believed the emphasis on this description was hiding something based on previous mis-representations. Many people believed it could be considered potentially provocative?
There are potentially two different outcomes in reporting the story.
- People, outraged, or tired and confused with the perceived manipulation, ‘reacted’. In general, citizens in the UK do not feel safe or protected any more. They feel overlooked. It is a fight or flight response. There is a lot of anger and frustration amongst people on so many issues.
- Mankind agrees with the perceived authoritarian account and is indifferent, or else it compromises and sits and suffers in inward silence creating anxiety, fear and eventually sickness.
In effect, you sell your soul to the oppressor who wants you to obey it, whichever way you choose to react.
This incident is how a Narcissist will treat its victim in a personal relationship. After creating a problem, they then create confusion and a response, and then they take the upper hand in the scenario by accusing you of reacting. Little by little, you lose your own identity, your essence, your energy, and you give in to what some people would call ‘Evil’. I believe it is succumbing to a false God.
Are you watching Narcissism being played out right now? Or are you dealing with a compromised victim?
On the 17th June this year, the majority of MPs in the UK Parliament, mainly consisting of Labour MP’s, voted in favour to amend the Crime and Policing Bill to decriminalise abortion right up to birth.
I don’t think there is anyone I know who is not sickened by this proposal which was conducted without any consultation whatsoever with the public, and with very little publicity.
My own beliefs are that aborting a child for whatever reason at full term is not protecting the most vulnerable in society, including the mental health of the adults who may be coerced in to this. There is also an emphasis on ‘women’s rights’ and not the rights of the father, or the rights of the child. A full-term baby cannot be classed as an embryo or a foetus as pro-abortionists claim.
It is reported the proposal to the amendment of the Crime and Policing Bill (NC1) was put forward by Labour MP for Gower, Tonia Antoniazzi and included a continuation of the 24-week allowance agreed by Parliament in 2022 during the pandemic to now decriminalise abortion right up to birth.
(NC20) to the amendment of the Crime and Policing Bill was reported to have been put forward by Stella Creasy MP, to decriminalise abortion up to birth no matter how the abortion is carried out.
It is reported by Christian Concern, who are Christian lawyers, that it removes the sections of the Against the Person Act 1861 and also repeals the Infant life Preservation Act 1929.
They reported that over 1000 medics wrote to MP’s advising them to reject the amendment for medical reasons. The amendment would mean that the woman would be able to carry out her own abortion for whatever reason right up to birth. The links are below
The proposal for the amendment still has to go to the House of Lords to become law, but what is shocking, is the majority of MP’s who voted for the proposal. It is reported that the proposal was passed with just 2 hours of debate in the House of Commons.
Is that the value of human life?
My thoughts are that we should always speak up if we see harm being committed towards another person, and we should speak up against the injustices that we witness. Many people now feel it is a waste of time writing to MP’s who have already decided that they know better than their constituents.
From different resources, it is not unusual to receive some very condescending replies. However, shining a light on evil, if you are correct in your vision brings an energy and a clarity called Truth to the issue which is liberating. It can also awaken a sleeping cell in another who has been mis-led or compromised.

Choose your battles carefully
Narcissists typically have very big charismatic personalities even if they sometimes play a victim or covert role. It can be extremely hard in some situations to ever explain how they can lie, mislead, and gaslight others. They usually come out on top.
In a personal relationship, if you are being played by a narcissist you must resist playing the game and learn to withdraw your energy from them. Friends and relatives will not see or understand what you may be silently suffering from, but your soul is worth saving.
Provocation, sometimes wrapped up as a compliment, can derive from the simplest of statements. Know your triggers, knowing silence in these instances, can outshine the darkness which is attempting to displace you.
The first commandment to have no other Gods, and to love God first with all your heart and soul, will connect you to what is known as your First Love. We must love truth more than we love lies. It will mean you are connected to the Truth and you are not alone.
With discernment you will learn that something can also speak in the silence of your interactions with others, and at other times it will lead you to speak out from a place where the truth of those words cuts through those lies to silence it.
The battle to displace truth with lies is real and is a battle for your soul. It wants to change your beliefs to its own, and keep you as a slave.
We are witnessing on a grand scale a battle for your life, that wants your allegiance to be to a system who thinks it is God who demands your energy by instilling fear, force and compromise. Sometimes it is subtle, and sometimes it is not so subtle, but it is there to distract and displace us. It does not possess Love.
Love, which is the love of God, not our own human interpretation, will be the only way out of the chaos and confusion which is being thrown at us on a daily basis. God is throwing us a life line in the first commandment, which is the antidote to every problem that we have.
You do not have to hate the Narcissist; you just have to direct your main focus at all times on something greater, and not succumb to the manipulation.
It is time for the UK to return to God as the only way out of its descent.
Below is just one lone MP, Danny Kruger who was recently speaking to an empty House of Commons

“There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer: no disease that love will not heal: no door that enough love will not open…It makes no difference how deep set the trouble: how hopeless the outlook: how muddled the tangle: how great the mistake. A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all. If only you could love enough, you would be the happiest and most powerful being in the world…” —Emmet Fox
