You know it’s bad when we whip out the old facepalm meme.
On X, the official account for the Democrats posted a chart showing that food prices are at their highest level today. But it didn’t have the effect they’d hoped for because it’s crystal clear that the massive spike in food prices started in 2021 when they controlled the House, the Senate, and the White House.
They quickly deleted the post after responses pointed out what the chart actually showed, but the internet never forgets.
Responses to the deletion were as good as responses to the post itself.
Democrats Posted This Chart to Embarrass Trump—But It Completely Blew Up in Their Faces
The @Democrats account on X thought they had a slam dunk, posting “Trump’s America” alongside this chart.
But look closely… because what it actually shows completely destroys what they were… pic.twitter.com/9IgxGPcKTn

Things are going so well under President Trump that Democrats have to destroy themselves just to point out a minor blip in an otherwise spectacular first six months of the Trump administration.
