Federal Judge Robin Rosenberg – appointed to the bench in 2014 by none other than President Barack Obama (in a unanimous confirmation by the Senate) – has officially denied the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s grand jury testimony in Florida.
For weeks, MAGA folks and Democrats alike have been calling on Trump to release more information on Jeffrey Epstein. It’s been the narrative of the left on social media to say that Trump is hiding something. But this time, they don’t have Trump or MAGA or the Republicans to blame. It’s their own leftist judge who said no.
The ruling came after a request to unseal records tied to the infamous 2006 Florida grand jury proceedings involving Epstein.
According to Rosenberg, the request to unseal didn’t meet the legal standards and could potentially violate the rights of individuals who were never charged. Talk show host Mark Levin agrees.
In a grand jury, there is no cross examination, no attorneys in court for those who testify and no way to prove what they say is or isn’t true. It’s just a hodgepodge of information, much of which, probably wouldn’t be allowed as “evidence” in a trial.
So while the Left keeps demanding “transparency” (though let’s be honest – they don’t mean it), it was their own judge who shut the door this time. In the end, the same crowd shouting “What’s Trump hiding?” just got blocked by one of their own.
Judge Rosenberg’s ruling may have been legally sound, but it torpedoes the left’s favorite Epstein conspiracy narrative about Trump hiding the truth – at least for now.
