Newly unsealed documents from the Moscow Police Department reportedly detailed horrific new information about the gruesome killing of four University of Idaho students.
A judge sentenced Bryan Kohberger to life in prison without parole Wednesday after admitting to killing Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle in their off-campus home in 2022.
The new documents alleged Kohberger violently “disfigured” Goncalves’ face during the violent attack, and her injuries were allegedly so severe that her face was unrecognizable, according to TMZ. The responding officer who noted the disfigurement reportedly referred to the crime scene as a “bloodbath.”
The police reportedly noted “an intense” struggle between Kohberger and Kernodle that was allegedly so violent she suffered severe defensive wounds between her fingers — evidence that she fought for her life amid the violence, according to TMZ.
Kernodle was found on the lower level of the home.
The reports alleged Kohberger fled the crime scene after his confrontation with Kernodle, TMZ reported.
