The homeowner, Matt Genesis, 33, had initially rented the 10-bedroom, $861,000 property to a small group of eight people, unaware that the party would attract a flood of revelers from as far as London. Genesis mentioned that he was completely taken aback by the sheer number of guests that arrived, stating, “Whilst we were there, minibus after minibus was turning up – I’d say one every 15 minutes, a minibus full of six to eight people walking in.” According to reports, the quiet streets of Norden quickly filled to capacity, as more than 150 partygoers spilled out into the neighborhood, parking over locals’ driveways and transforming the area into what can only be described as an impromptu festival. We called them, obviously neighbours had called them. It was out of our control,” he said.
