The liberal media continues to push their open-borders agenda, but the Trump administration remains steadfast in its commitment to securing America’s homeland. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt once again made it clear that President Trump “does not support amnesty for illegal alien criminals” when pressed about Rep. Maria Salazar’s (R-FL) so-called “Dignity Act,” a mass amnesty bill disguised as immigration reform.
Leavitt’s response to reporters was unequivocal: “I don’t think that’s the focus of the White House right now in terms of legislative priorities… the President does not support amnesty for illegal alien criminals.” She emphasized that the administration’s priority is “to secure our homeland and to deport illegal alien criminals and public safety threats from our country and our community.” This comes after the horrific assault of an off-duty Border Patrol officer in New York City, where two illegal aliens attempted to rob him before shooting him in the face.
The liberal media, of course, refuses to acknowledge the dangers of illegal immigration, instead pushing for mass amnesty under the guise of “compassion.” But as Leavitt rightly stated in her first press briefing, “if you are an individual, a foreign national, who illegally enters the United States of America, you are, by definition, a criminal.” The Trump administration isn’t fooled by the left’s deceptive rhetoric—amnesty is amnesty, no matter how they try to spin it.
Despite the media’s desperate attempts to twist the narrative, President Trump has been crystal clear: “He will not support amnesty for illegal aliens in any way.” Yet, the left continues to pressure him, with figures like Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-Deremer—who previously co-sponsored Salazar’s amnesty bill—floating the idea of “streamlining” work visas for illegal aliens. But the American people didn’t elect President Trump to rubber-stamp the left’s radical immigration agenda. They elected him to deport criminal aliens, secure the border, and put American workers first.
The liberal media wants you to believe that mass amnesty is inevitable, but President Trump isn’t backing down. While they obsess over fake “compassion,” he’s focused on real solutions—like removing violent criminals and stopping future illegal immigration.
