Police in Wisconsin are searching for a 22-year-old who reportedly vanished Sunday morning in La Crosse.
According to police, Eliotte Heinz, a graduate student at Viterbo College, disappeared early Sunday morning after leaving Bronco’s Bar in the city’s downtown area.
Security footage captured her walking near the Mississippi River waterfront around 3:20 a.m., walking southbound in the 500 block of Front Street South, CBS News reports.
Heinz was reportedly on her way back to her apartment when she vanished, which is around a 30-minute walk from the bar.
“We ask that if you have seen anything — even if it’s small, anything at all, that you please call the La Crosse Police Department,” her mother, Amber Heinz, said Monday, according to FOX 11.
“If you have Ring cameras, and you think that you might have captured an image of Eliotte, please call them, let them take a look at your footage. Even if you don’t think it’s a big deal, it might be something that’s a really big deal for her.”
Heinz’s brother added that her disappearance caught the family by surprise, as she is typically a “responsible person.”
“Everyone is just really messed up right now. We don’t know where Eliotte is. We need to find her. It’s tearing our family apart right now,” he said, according to News 8 Now.
Heinz is described as a white female who stands 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and was last seen in a white shirt abnd denim shorts.
