A former Bravo reality TV star is making headlines for all the wrong reasons after a violent brawl broke out at a Walmart in Tennessee.
Diamond Tankard, 21, who appeared as a child on the Bravo show Thicker Than Water, was arrested over the weekend after allegedly assaulting and robbing another woman at a Walmart Supercenter in Antioch, a suburb of Nashville.
According to police, the incident happened Friday at the self-checkout line, where Tankard is accused of sneaking up on the victim, grabbing her by the hair, and attacking her with what witnesses say was a sock filled with rocks.
Yes, you read that right—a sock full of rocks.
The alleged victim’s grandmother told police she saw the entire altercation and confirmed that Tankard used the makeshift weapon to strike her granddaughter. The woman was left with a nasty gash above her left eye and had to be taken to the hospital for stitches.
But the violence didn’t end there.
According to the arrest affidavit, Tankard also swiped the woman’s iPhone—worth $1,500—and her $900 Louis Vuitton handbag before fleeing the scene. Store security footage later showed Tankard gathering items from the floor, which police believe were the stolen goods, before making a run for it.
The Metro Nashville Police Department tracked her down and took her into custody the following day. She was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft. Tankard posted her $25,000 bond and was released that same day.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for August 22.
Once known for her appearances on reality TV, Tankard is now facing serious legal trouble—and a future far less glamorous than her past on the small screen.
