Tulsi Gabbard just dropped a political bombshell that could rewrite the history books.
Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, has unveiled declassified documents alleging a calculated scheme by an Obama-era inner circle to launch the Trump-Russia collusion investigation after the 2016 election, aiming to derail a duly elected president, as Fox News reports.
Let’s rewind to the weeks before then-President Barack Obama left office, when, according to these newly released papers, the groundwork for this probe was laid.
Uncovering a post-election conspiracy
Before the 2016 vote, intelligence assessments found no sign that Russia had the means or intent to tamper with actual vote tallies.
Yet, after the election, whispers emerged from certain intelligence corners claiming that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a vested interest in seeing Trump win.
Gabbard argues this sudden pivot wasn’t driven by fresh intel but by political agendas — a convenient narrative to paint Trump as a Kremlin puppet.
High-profile names in crosshairs
The documents point fingers at heavyweights like former President Obama, ex-CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, and ex-National Security Adviser Susan Rice, among others.
Gabbard isn’t mincing words, calling this a “treasonous conspiracy” orchestrated at the highest levels to undermine the American electorate’s choice.
“The implications of this are frankly nothing short of historic,” Gabbard declared, and who can argue when the stakes involve the very foundation of our democratic process?
Gabbard pushes for accountability
“Over 100 documents… provide evidence of how this… conspiracy was directed by President Obama,” Gabbard told reporters, emphasizing this transcends party lines.
She insists this isn’t about Democrats or Republicans but about safeguarding the integrity of our republic from those who’d subvert it for power.
Well, turns out actions might just have consequences, and Gabbard is forwarding these papers to the Department of Justice and FBI for a criminal referral.
Whistleblowers, critics emerge
Since the documents met the public eye on Friday, Gabbard says whistleblowers from within the intelligence community have begun stepping forward, appalled by what they witnessed back then.
“We have whistleblowers… coming forward now… because they… want to see justice delivered,” Gabbard noted, pushing for indictments no matter who’s implicated.
Meanwhile, some on the left, like Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut, dismiss her claims as “baseless,” though Fox News Digital couldn’t get a peep from Obama or his former team for a response.
