President Donald Trump called out the negligence of the Biden administration and Democrats’ globalist policies after an “Illegal Alien Monster” shot a Border Patrol officer in the face.
Despite activists so often insisting public figures say the name of those they believe have been victimized, shamefully, it wasn’t until heckling during then-President Joe Biden’s final State of the Union address that he attempted to say the name of Laken Riley. Now, as yet another American has become the victim of an illegal immigrant during a reported attempted robbery, Trump slammed the policies that allowed “evil and dangerous” criminals into the country.
Reacting to the report that an off-duty U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer had been shot in the face in what became a shootout in New York City’s Fort Washington Park Saturday night, the president took to Truth Social and said, “Last night, in New York City, an incredible CBP Officer was shot in the face by an Illegal Alien Monster freed into the Country under Joe Biden. He was apprehended at the Border in April 2023 but, instead of being deported, was RELEASED.”

“The CBP Officer bravely fought of his attacker, despite his wounds, demonstrating enormous Skill and Courage,” continued Trump. “The Democrats have flooded our Nation with Criminal Invaders, and now, they must all be thrown out or, in some cases, immediately prosecuted in that we cannot take a chance that they are able to come back. That’s how evil and dangerous they are!”
Dominican national Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, 21, was alleged to be the man seen in a video shared by DHS getting off of a motorized scooter before approaching the as-yet-unnamed off-duty officer and a female companion in what authorities believe was an attempted robbery.
It was then that Nunez allegedly shot the officer in the face and arm before the man returned fire, reportedly striking the suspect in the leg and groin. Both men were taken to nearby hospitals, and the officer was said to be in stable condition.
Meanwhile, further details regarding Nunez’s background emphasized how the opportunity for the attack should never have come to be as New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) detailed the active warrant for kidnapping in Massachusetts and prior felony arrests of the alien who had illegally re-entered the country in April 2023 only to be arrested by the Border Patrol near San Luis, Arizona and then released by the Biden administration.
“The perpetrator — who entered the country illegally and at the time of the shooting had an outstanding bench warrant and was wanted for robbery, felony assault, kidnapping, and weapons possession across multiple states — should have never been on our streets,” said Adams.
Likewise, CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott captioned the video of the attack, “Our CBP Officer in NYC showed extraordinary courage last night — shot in the face by an illegal alien & still fought back to help bring his attacker into custody. This violent criminal never should’ve been on our streets. This is exactly why we fight every day to secure this nation. We’re praying for the officer & his family.”

Violence of this kind will NEVER be tolerated in New York City.
