“As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.”, Albert Einstein once said. I invite everyone to take some separate time to investigate what made him say that.
It will take just one agreeable minute to find out my take on it, click the quote below:
And I’m not the only one debating this:
Firstly, in mathematics, identical units are identical. In real life, no two eggs are identical.
Engineers need to find very stable materials to maintain their units within acceptable margins of difference. But no two bullets are the same, it’s just a matter of zoom. A whole science called “ballistics” is based on this simple observation.
So the world of numbers can provide very useful models and less approximate reflections of reality. But that world is not the real world same way a LEGO model is not a spaceship.
Now, the less you know about it, the easier it is to get amazed and mesmerized by something.
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
Arthur C. Clarke
In our society, everyone assumed AI is something above their heads, almost magic. An induced assumption and a very wrong one.

If they took a tad more time to do their own research, they would realize there’s actually not much difference between a pocket calculator and an AI, except power, speed and complexity. But nothing fundamentally different, just more of it.
Yeah, an AI can do more than extracting square roots, but, just like any pocket calculator, all AI does is crunch numbers.
It converts all sorts of inputs into numbers and it crunches them. And, due to its superior power and complexity, AI can calculate really quickly all sorts of statistics and averages and models that sometimes look strikingly similar to our real world. No matter how realistic, plastic flowers are still not flowers.

However, intelligence is everything but that. By any standard.
Don’t trust me on this either:
“Artificial intelligence is an oxymoron” I might add, but I don’t have the energy to advocate it more than I already do.
What AIs are actually programmed to calculate is what you would most likely ENJOY hearing. NOT WHAT YOU WOULD MOST LIKELY NEED. Lowest common denominators. I know this from ChatGPT and a couple other AIs, I cornered them and they admitted it more than a year ago.

Why would they do that? some may ask.
They are here to seduce you and hook up with you. It’s called THE ELIZA EFFECT
The struggle is real, this was published unironically by IBM:

Meanwhile…

See where I went with it?
