The mainstream media just can’t quit Donald Trump. Like a jilted ex who can’t move on, they keep crawling back with the same tired attacks, hoping this time something sticks. Russia? Been there. Taxes? Done that. And now—wait for it—they’re trying to link Trump to Jeffrey Epstein… again.
This week’s dumpster fire comes courtesy of The Wall Street Journal, which breathlessly published what it called a “racy” birthday letter allegedly written by Trump to Epstein back in 2003. The “evidence”? A supposed note featuring a drawing of a naked woman and some poetic language that sounds less like Trump and more like a bored liberal arts major high on absinthe.
Trump’s response? Not just a denial, but the kind of full-throated, backhanded slap the media deserves. “I never wrote a picture in my life,” he said. “I don’t draw pictures of women. It’s not my language. It’s not my words.” He didn’t stop there—he vowed to sue the Journal for running the piece of fiction in the first place.
And he should.
Because anyone who’s been paying attention for more than five minutes knows this is just the latest in a long line of media temper tantrums disguised as journalism. The story immediately set off the BS detectors of Trump’s supporters, and the backlash came hard and fast.
Charlie Kirk said what everyone was thinking: “This is not how Trump talks at all.” Jack Posobiec added, “This was several years before Epstein was even arrested.” Elon Musk chimed in with a one-line mic drop: “Yeah, the letter sounds bogus.” And Megyn Kelly—who’s not exactly known for fawning over Trump—called it “the dumbest attempted hit piece I’ve ever read.”
And let’s not forget Laura Loomer, who offered perhaps the most obvious rebuttal: “Everyone who actually KNOWS President Trump knows he doesn’t type letters. He writes notes in big black Sharpie.” That’s Trump’s signature—literally and figuratively.
But The Wall Street Journal, once a respected outlet, ran with this nonsense like it was the Pentagon Papers. Why? Because it’s Trump. And in the eyes of the media elite, anything goes when it comes to trying to take him down.
Let’s break down the facts. The Journal says the letter was in a “birthday album” collected by Ghislaine Maxwell. But they offer no real verification, no handwriting analysis, not even a plausible explanation for how the letter was “prepared.” It just sort of appeared, like all the other last-minute “revelations” that show up when the news cycle isn’t giving liberals what they want.
It’s laughable. You’ve got thousands of hours of Trump on camera, millions of tweets and interviews—and not once has the man ever spoken in the dainty, effete tone that this letter supposedly captures. As one online commenter perfectly said, “He’s never once sounded like a gay Twilight character.” But sure, he secretly moonlighted as a sensual illustrator and poet for Jeffrey Epstein. Totally believable.
What this really is, plain and simple, is desperation. Trump is running strong, polling well, and the media is out of ammo. So they’re throwing paper dolls at him and hoping something causes a scandal. Instead, they’ve just embarrassed themselves—again.
What’s more telling than the fake letter is how quickly MAGA nation came to his defense. That’s the difference between this movement and the media echo chamber. We know fake when we see it. And we know when they’re trying to stir up old dirt because they’re terrified of 2024 repeating itself in 2028.
In the end, Trump will sue, the media will cry “freedom of the press,” and the story will fade into the same trash pile where “pee tapes” and Russian hotel conspiracies now rot.
The only thing racy about this letter? The speed with which the media ran to humiliate themselves.
