(Live Action)—During childhood, Tiffany felt distant from her mother. She reasoned that if God loved her, she would have a happy family, which she didn’t have. “I just wanted us to have a close relationship. I wanted there to be, like, that support system, the emotional connection, but… it wasn’t there,” Tiffany said.
Tiffany’s desperation to be loved led her to form a relationship with a young man she met online a few years after graduating from high school.
“I was looking for someone to care about me. His interest in me made me feel good. That… I am worth something, and someone is interested,” Tiffany explained. In the relationship, she attended her boyfriend’s church, where his parents were pastors, and was eager to learn more about Christianity and God.
After eight months, the two were engaged — but her fiancé informed her their relationship was causing strain within his family. Soon after, Tiffany learned she was pregnant — and when she told him, he reacted in fear.
What Happened:
The couple scheduled an appointment for an abortion, but as the time approached, Tiffany’s heart was moved for her baby.
