A chilling surveillance video from Florida is going viral after capturing the heart-stopping moment a woman escaped an alleged kidnapping in broad daylight.
The footage, released by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office on July 15, shows a man dragging a woman by the neck across a parking lot in St. Augustine, trying to shove her into a pickup truck as she screams for help. The 30-second clip ends with the woman managing to break free as the suspect chases after her.
The terrifying scene unfolded around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, outside a local business. Deputies say the man had just committed a robbery inside the store when he violently forced a female employee outside and attempted to shove her into his vehicle.

Luckily, a bystander witnessed the attack, stepped in, and called 911—prompting the suspect to flee before he could complete the abduction.
The suspect, 31-year-old Theodore Michael Tundidor, was later caught by Florida Fish and Wildlife officers after he was spotted driving erratically near Marineland Dolphin Adventure on State Road A1A.
He’s now facing a long list of charges, including kidnapping, robbery, grand theft auto, DUI, and fleeing law enforcement. It’s not yet known if he has entered a plea or secured legal representation.
In a statement, the sheriff’s office praised the victim’s actions: “The victim in this situation did everything right — scream/yell, fight, attract attention.”
