An Ohio man is behind bars after a road rage incident spiraled into a shocking home invasion — all because a woman honked at him in traffic.
According to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Seth Schlueter faces a slew of charges after allegedly tailing a woman to her home, confronting her husband, and assaulting him — with his own young children in tow.
The chaos began around 5:30 p.m. on July 11, when Schlueter reportedly stopped his car in the middle of the road. When a woman behind him honked and drove around, police say he snapped. With his kids in the vehicle, all age 5 or younger, Schlueter allegedly followed the woman to her home.
Once there, he confronted her husband, who had been sitting on the porch. The woman, fearing for her safety, ran behind the house. Her husband followed, hoping to calm things down — but the situation only escalated.
Instead of leaving, Schlueter allegedly took his kids out of the car and barged into the couple’s home. Once inside, he and the children reportedly damaged property before Schlueter punched the husband in the face, grabbed his kids, and fled the scene.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries, according to local reports.
Detectives later tracked Schlueter down at a convenience store along State Route 727, where he was arrested without incident.
He’s now facing multiple charges, including aggravated burglary, aggravated menacing, assault, child endangerment, and operating a vehicle under the influence. He remains in the county jail without bond.
