We’re pleased to share that the federal case against Utah physician Dr. Kirk Moore has been dismissed with prejudice—meaning it cannot be refiled—marking a major victory for medical freedom and informed consent.
Dr. Moore had been facing up to 35 years in prison for allegedly providing patients with fake COVID-19 vaccine cards and administering saline shots to children with parental consent. On Saturday, Attorney General Pam Bondi intervened, ordering the Justice Department to drop the case mid-trial. In a public statement, Bondi said, “Dr. Moore gave his patients a choice when the federal government refused to do so. He did not deserve the years in prison he was facing. It ends today.”
Dr. Moore’s attorney maintains that no crime was committed: no unexpired vaccines were destroyed, and Dr. Moore received no financial compensation. He was honoring his patients’ personal medical decisions.
ANH has long supported the right of patients and doctors to make medical choices free from government coercion. The dismissal of this case affirms the vital principle of informed consent.
We celebrate this outcome as a win for health freedom—and for all those who believe that medical decisions should remain between patients and their trusted care providers.
