Mike Waltz For UN, Cory Booker For Adjective Olympics

Former Florida Congressman/former Trump National Security Advisor and current nominee for the Ambassador to the United Nations Michael Waltz was sitting in the hot seat in the Senate to be grilled over hot coals by the gormless Senators. Most of the people who are Senators today shouldn’t be hired to clean the restrooms at Walmart, like Lisa Murkowski, Adam Schiff and Cory Booker. Booker, as you may remember, is the current holder for the longest speech (saying absolutely nothing but being very dramatic). Yet, we allow these spineless wonders to attempt to fold, spindle and mutilate the President’s nominees.

Mike Waltz got his turn yesterday. Now remember, Waltz lost his National Security position over the whole Signal app kerfuffle. I do not believe Waltz added the Trump hating journalist to the group chat. Puh-leeze Course, the Democrats tried to beat him about the head with the accusations, from the New York Times:

President Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Waltz, was pressed by Democrats on Capitol Hill on Tuesday but did not acknowledge any wrongdoing related to a sensitive group chat on the commercial messaging app Signal in March.

Mr. Waltz, during a hearing on his nomination to serve as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, repeated the Trump administration’s defenses of the group chat where senior officials discussed sensitive details of a military operation in Yemen. He was ousted from his national security position following the revelation that he added a journalist to the group chat that included Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other top officials.

Mr. Waltz told lawmakers that “there was no classified information on that chat,” and did not address why he added the journalist to the discussion on Signal.

It was the first time Mr. Waltz had appeared before Congress since he was removed from his post. Mr. Trump passed the national security adviser role to Mr. Rubio and nominated Mr. Waltz for the U.N. role in May.

There was not classified information on the group chat and maybe Waltz didn’t mention why he added the journo because he didn’t add him.

Mike Waltz promised to bring the Trump 2.0 Administration chainsaw to the United Nation in the hearing. According to Politico:

Former national security adviser Mike Waltz pledged Tuesday to push for reform at the United Nations, portraying the body as bloated, ineffectual and overly politicized during his confirmation hearing to serve as President Donald Trump’s ambassador to international organization.

Echoing the administration’s approach to slashing the federal government, Waltz said that the administration was conducting a number of reviews of the United Nations to examine how it is spending its funds, calling for the body to refocus on its founding principles.

A nice start, but the best thing would be to drop the United Nations out of the Continental United States. “Boated, ineffectual, and overly politicized” are just for the beginning. You can add racist, bigoted and flat hateful.

Now we come to the PROFOUND COWARDICE portion of this drama.

It just makes my hair hurt for any elected American politician to accuse ANYONE of cowardice or not taking accountability:

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) lashed out at Mike Waltz after he suggested former President Joe Biden’s administration shared some of the blame for the so-called SignalGate scandal, where he shared secret war plans with a journalist on a group messaging app.

The New Jersey senator chewed out President Donald Trump’s nominee for United Nations ambassador at his confirmation hearing on Tuesday.

“But I heard you just blame Biden,” he continued. “I’ve seen you not only fail to stand up, but lie… You denied, deflected, and then you did something that to me really lacks integrity, is that you sought out to demean and degrade that very journalist in crass and frankly cruel ways that made him a target.”

“Smearing people, attacking folks, singling them out, just furthers, compounds what I think is disqualifying about you for this position. It also, to me, just shows profound cowardice.”

Spartacus just accused Michael Waltz of “profound cowardice”? No effing way. Waltz is a Green Beret. Only a “profound” coward like Cory Booker would dare say that to a Green Beret. Wouldn’t you like to see Cory Booker last a day at Robin Sage in Pineland? IYKYK.

Confirm Waltz and carry his chainsaw for him. Give Booker a gold medal in the Adjective Olympics.
