A Florida official overseeing the Alligator Alcatraz migrant detention facility just blew the whistle on what can only be described as a staged political stunt by Democrat lawmakers trying to smear the state.
In a video going viral, the official explains how Democrat politicians were caught pointing thermometers at light bulbs in order to falsely claim that the facility was dangerously hot for detainees.
Let that sink in: instead of checking actual conditions or helping improve anything, these politicians were cooking the numbers—literally—by heating up thermometers with artificial sources to create headlines.
“They were pointing them at light fixtures and trying to say it was 130 degrees in here. It’s absolute nonsense,” the official says. “They wanted the media clip, not the truth.”

The facility, dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” due to its isolated location and strict security, has been a target of coordinated left-wing outrage ever since Florida began cracking down on illegal immigration under Governor Ron DeSantis.
But as this official just revealed, the so-called ‘abuse’ was nothing more than political theater—a desperate attempt to create outrage where none existed.
This is classic Democrat playbook stuff: fake the data, feed it to the media, and hope no one notices until it’s too late. Only this time, they got caught.
It’s no wonder trust in Democrat narratives is at an all-time low. They aren’t solving real problems—they’re faking them with props and praying you don’t notice.
Florida called their bluff, and now the entire country is watching.
