Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) revealed some of the ways the government is wasting American tax dollars on the global stage.
The congresswoman posted a video on X pushing the rescissions package in order to eliminate some of the wasteful spending that has voters wondering why they are funding such initiatives.
Watch:
Electric buses for Haiti, vegan food for Zambia—why on Earth was our government ever funding these things?
We will pass the rescissions package to eliminate this wasteful spending and end this madness. pic.twitter.com/MS9rbgrPAu

“Well, rescissions are what is on the docket here in D.C., you’ve been hearing all about that. Now, this is going to cut out some of that bloated spending we’ve been trying to get out of the budget,” she said. “And you will see a removal of your tax dollars for paying for programs on NPR and PBS, something Tennesseans have long supported. Also, cutting out a lot of this wasteful foreign spending. Here’s some of the examples.”
“There have been your dollars spent to pay for voter ID in Haiti, electric buses in Rwanda, and vegan food in Zambia. That is what you want to see removed from the federal budget. I’m going to support zeroing out those programs,” she vowed.

As long as any American veteran or child is sleeping on the streets, no money should go anywhere.
