Last week, most people were stunned when Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel announced that there was no client list contained in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
This was shocking considering all the talk from President Donald Trump and his surrogates over the last few years, not to mention the federal criminal conviction of Epstein’s confidante, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Now, reports are surfacing that Maxwell is willing to come clean about the list.
Coming clean
According to reports, some in Congress are looking to have Maxwell provide testimony on her relationship with Epstein.
After all, she is now serving 20 years behind bars for having been the key player in his alleged child trafficking scheme.
But the natural question here is, how can Maxwell be guilty of something that was not taking place, if we are to believe Bondi and Patel?
Maxwell may now be looking to make a deal, hence her interest in going before Congress.
The source stated, “Despite the rumors, Ghislaine was never offered any kind of plea deal. She would be more than happy to sit before Congress and tell her story.”
The insider continued, “No-one from the government has ever asked her to share what she knows. She remains the only person to be jailed in connection to Epstein and she would welcome the chance to tell the American public the truth.”
The source later added, “Congressional hearings have been held into everything from JFK’s assassination to 9/11. The Epstein Files rank up there with those cases. Ghislaine would be willing to speak before Congress and tell her story.”
So, here is my question: Trump has been very clear that he just wants this to go away, so how would he react to the House bringing in Maxwell, possibly blowing the lid off the claim that there was no client list?
For those of you who missed my earlier reports on this, I firmly believe that files are being buried to protect people.
I think when they saw the names in these files, the decision was made far above Bondi’s pay grade to bury the list rather than end so many careers and create a massive scandal that would cripple our government and cause untold damage to some very high-profile individuals.
This is a swamp move, which is why MAGA is so upset with Bondi right now, thinking she is behind this alleged cover-up, but I don’t think that is the case at all. I think the final call was made by Trump or by government attorneys with Trump’s approval.
If Maxwell comes in, that narrative gets destroyed, so it will be interesting to see whether Trump reached out to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to try to quash this concept before it gets any juice among MAGA.
