Let’s see if the Democrat party of jihad will stand in the way. Again.
The Muslim Brotherhood should have been designated a terrorist organization long ago. It is recognized as terrorist organization across the Arab world and here in America it’s goal “is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
- Enablement of Islam in North America, meaning: establishing an effective and stable Islamic Movement led by the Muslim Brotherhood which adopts Muslims’ causes domestically and globally, and which works to expand the observant Muslim base, aims at unifying and directing Muslims’ efforts, presents Islam as a civilization alternative, and supports the global Islamic state, wherever it is.
- In order for Islam and its Movement to become “a part of the homeland” in which it lives, “stable” in its land, “rooted” in the spirits and minds of its people, “enabled” in the live [sic] of its society and has firmly-established “organizations” on which the Islamic structure is built and with which the testimony of civilization is achieved, the Movement must plan and struggle to obtain “the keys” and the tools of this process in carry [sic] out this grand mission as a “Civilization Jihadist” responsibility which lies on the shoulders of Muslims and – on top of them – the Muslim Brotherhood in this country.
- The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Proecess” with all the word means. The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions. Without this level of understanding, we are not up to this challenge and have not prepared ourselves for Jihad yet. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who chose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal.
Let’s see how many Democrats get on board with it.
Adam Kredo: The Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025 adopts “a new modernized strategy” for designating the organization, which preaches terrorism against Israel, the United States, and Western governments, a fact sheet the Cruz team has distributed to Senate offices states. While past legislative efforts focused on the organization’s nebulous global operation, the new bill employs a “bottom-up” approach that systematically sanctions the Muslim Brotherhood’s violent branches around the world. The bill centers on active terrorist organizations, creating a legal framework to designate the Muslim Brotherhood writ large as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). Previous efforts failed, the Cruz fact sheet reads, “because not all Muslim Brotherhood branches are currently violent and wouldn’t therefore meet the criteria for designation….” One source familiar with Cruz’s thinking on the bill said the senator “deliberately and extensively workshopped [the bill] so that it could become law.” “Cruz got it to a place where it was both in line with President Trump’s priorities while still being bipartisan,” the source explained. “The goal is to get it passed and implemented.” Cruz’s legislation outlines three primarily vehicles to designate the Muslim Brotherhood’s global operation, as well as those of its violent offshoots. These include congressional action under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1987 (ATA), a State Department designation as an FTO, and another designation as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT). The bill effectively “does all three,” according to the fact sheet and legislative text (Free Beacon).
Previously submitted to Congress:
The Muslim Brotherhood is a militant Islamist [sic]organization with affiliates in over 70 countries, including groups designated as terrorist organizations by the U.S.
The Muslim Brotherhood has been militant from its very beginning. Its founder, Hassan al-Banna, who started the group in 1928, said that, quote: “Jihad is an obligation from Allah and every Muslim and cannot be ignored nor evaded.”
And in a book titled “The Way of Jihad” he wrote: “Jihad means the fighting of the unbelievers and involves all possible efforts that are necessary to dismantle the power of the enemies of Islam, including beating them, plundering their wealth, destroying their places of worship, and smashing their idols,” end quote.
This belief was put into action in the decades that followed as the Muslim Brotherhood’s members committed numerous acts of terrorism, including the assassination of Egypt’s Prime Minister in 1948.
This jihadist ideology continues to fuel the Muslim Brotherhood today. The Brotherhood mourned the death of Osama bin Laden and its leaders developed teachings justifying revolutionary violence under sharia law. The Brotherhood has preached hatred towards Jews, denied the Holocaust, and called for Israel’s destruction. The Brotherhood has incited violence against Coptic Christians in Egypt amidst a wave of church bombings and other attacks by terrorist groups, including ISIS.
Yusuf al-Qaradawi, perhaps the Brotherhood’s preeminent cleric, issued a fatwa legitimizing terrorist attacks against American troops in Iraq. And he’s also deemed the Holocaust to be a, quote, “punishment for Jews,” and expressed hope that another Holocaust would someday be carried out by his fellow Islamists.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s Supreme Guide, Mohammed Badie, has said that the organization’s goal is to establish a new Islamist caliphate, including the imposition of sharia law, which is the totalitarian Islamic legal code. We saw what happens when the Brotherhood takes control of a country in Egypt from 2012 to 2013, and the results were chilling, that then-President Mohamed Morsi defied the rule of law and granted himself near absolute power. As Egyptian leader Mohamed El Baradi put it, Morsi usurped all state powers and appointed himself Egypt’s new pharaoh.
The Brotherhood’s legislators enshrined the principles of sharia as the main source of law in Egypt’s Constitution, while the Morsi government used state institutions to promote Islamic radicalism, roll back freedom of the press, and launched a wave of blasphemy prosecutions.

A number of these Brotherhood affiliates have been designated as terrorist organizations by the United States Government. The Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestinian branch Hamas has been a designated foreign terrorist organization since 1997. Hamas has taken control of the Gaza Strip, launched thousands of rockets against Israeli civilians, and committed suicide bombings and other terrorist attacks that have murdered numerous Israeli and American civilians.
Muslim Brotherhood networks raise money here in the U.S. to support Hamas’ terrorist activities in the Middle East.
According to the Department of Justice, in the early 1990s, Hamas’ parent organization, the Muslim Brotherhood, planned to establish a network of organizations in the U.S. to spread a militant Islamist message and raise money for Hamas.
And the Texas-based Holy Land Foundation became the chief fundraising arm for the Palestine Committee in the U.S., created by the Brotherhood to support Hamas. In 2008, the Holy Land Foundation leaders were convicted of crimes, including providing material support for Hamas.
