California police are investigating an apparent double homicide after a couple was found fatally shot in their home on Monday.
Unidentified sources told TMZ that “American Idol” music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, were found dead at their Encino home during a welfare check. Officers reportedly broke a window to gain entry to the home and discovered the couple — who both suffered gunshot wounds to the head.
TMZ reported that last week, police were called to the home after neighbors possibly spotted an armed suspect jumping a fence. However, responding officers found no evidence of a break-in. A helicopter also flew over the residence, but a suspect was not located.
According to TMZ, family members had not heard from Kaye or Deluca for four days. Police who responded to their home on Monday reportedly found blood at the front door.
No arrests have been made. It is unclear whether last week’s incident is linked to Kaye and Deluca’s slayings.
