After all the Epstein drama last week, and claims that both Bongino and Kash Patel were going to resign from the FBI, it looks like none of that was true. Over the weekend Patel said he was staying on at the FBI, and now after a phone call with Trump, it appears Bongino is staying as well. Make what you will of this, as neither Patel nor Bongino have done diddly squat since joining the FBI, but whatever.

Trump says he spoke to Bongino
Trump sounds very positive and still thinks Bongino is his FBI Deputy Director, and says that “he’s in good shape”.
Sounds like Dan just needed a couple days to blow off some steam.
