Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, is doing what she does best, escalating the rhetoric around federal immigration enforcement actions.
The desperate race to get people to oppose Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids and deportations has resulted in increasingly inflammatory rhetoric from radical leftists like Omar.
Speaking at a town hall at Cane Ridge High School, located outside of Nashville, the lawmaker spoke out about several progressive pet issues such as universal healthcare and cutting back the military budget. She also argued that federal agents should not be allowed to wear masks and made a bizarre claim about what is happening to people being detained by ICE.
“The reality is when they come for one of us, they’re eventually going to come for all of us,” she reportedly said. “We’re seeing people be abducted and sent to dungeons in foreign countries and people disappearing with no accounting for where they’ve gone.”
In a bit of performative virtue signalling, a sign was posted declaring that ICE was “not permitted” at Omar’s town hall.

I’m no lawyer, but I don’t believe you can ban federal law enforcement from public property just by making a sign.
