Leftists just couldn’t handle Vice President JD Vance spending family time with his kids in the “Happiest Place on Earth.”
The idea that the VP would try to carve out some time with his family amid his demanding schedule was more than haters could stand, and they rallied the base to exercise their “moral duty” and protest.
Folks, if you’re at Disneyland or DCA this week, you have a moral duty to boo JD Vance out of both parks. Don’t let me down! https://t.co/3rZXMJlrnp

Even the co-chair of the Democratic National Committee had to turn family time into a political moment, sharing the grandstanding moment on X.

California’s Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom proved what a unifier he isn’t by throwing more wood on the fire by reposting the video and writing, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t.”
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung blasted the governor in a fiery response.
The only thing @GavinNewsom knows about family is the one he destroyed by sleeping with his campaign manager’s wife. https://t.co/hxxKAkrKdj

Reposting a video of the vice president and his family grabbing lunch while at the theme park, the X account for Newsom’s Press Office jabbed: “35% of Anaheim’s residents are immigrants. Disneyland doesn’t run without them. Enjoy their labor, @JDVance.”

To Vance’s credit, he seemed to be able to ignore the hate and focus on spending time making memories with his kids.

The left’s meltdown over the Vance family outing sparked fierce criticism on X, and some users wondered why the vice president didn’t choose a Disney trip in Florida instead.
Honestly I keep wondering why Jd Vance would go to Disneyland when it would be just as easy for him to go to Disney World. And then he would be helping the economy of a red state
I mean I imagine it’s more expensive but if money is such a problem go to a Six Flags. https://t.co/Zx9sW28oIK

Stay classy, Democrats.

Gavin, the Vance family is not in this country illegally. Hope this helps your understanding. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

So politically broken that you see a dad taking his kids to Disneyland and think, “Time to ruin some family memories.”
You don’t have a moral duty to boo people in public, you have a moral duty to act like a decent human being. Go enjoy a churro like a normal person.
