“A” is for antisemitism after a beloved television puppet’s X account was taken over to rant against Jews, the president, and a notorious sex offender.
President Donald Trump may be encouraging everyone to move on after a joint Justice Department and FBI memo contended there was no longer a there there when it came to late “Lolita Express” conductor Jeffrey Epstein, but not everyone was in accord. Falling into a different sort of lockstep, someone hacked Elmo’s social media Sunday to demand the release of information while calling for the death of every Jew.
“Elmo says ALL JEWS SHOULD DIE,” began the last post in the span of minutes. Asserting the president was being controlled by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the hacked Elmo account continued. “DONALD TRUMP IS NETANYAHU’S PUPPET BECAUSE HE IS IN THE EPSTEIN FILES. JEWS CONTROL THE WORLD AND NEED TO BE EXTERMINATED.”
In addition to posting about a cryptocurrency, the account also ranted, “RELEASE THE FILES @realDonaldTrump CHILD F*CKER,” and “Kill all Jews.”

Order was restored not long after, and the offensive posts were scrubbed from Elmo’s account the day after the president reiterated his support for Attorney General Pam Bondi, as fallout regarding her rollout of information about Epstein had many calling for her resignation.
“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!” Trump posted to Truth Social Saturday. “We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.”

As the president went on to accuse Democrats including former President Barack Obama, “Crooked Hillary,” former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan “and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration” of creating the Epstein Files, leading voices among conservatives started calling for Bondi’s ousting at the same time reports were circulating that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino was threatening to resign if she wasn’t shown the door.
Regarding the matter of the hacked account, a spokesperson for Sesame Workshop told Fox News Digital, “Elmo’s X account was compromised today by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts. We are working to restore full control of the account.”
Meanwhile, reactions continued pouring in, making light, not of what was said, but rather the source of the message and how some in the political sphere may have received the statements.
“I’m forever scarred … by @elmo …. Words I never expected to utter,” said Utah Sen. Mike Lee (R) while Washington Reporter Editor-in-Chief Matthew Foldi hinted at the considerable amount of Hamas sympathy shown by leftists as he posted, “Elmo would win at least 10% in a nationwide Democratic primary based on these tweets alone.”
